This image is created for the Uncommon Paradigm art book, which has been recently released. It is created using Carrara Pro, which is a very good 3D program for creating natural worlds and landscapes. Carrara is from the same makers as DAZ Studio and Hexagon.

The scene rendered quite speedily, considering volumetric clouds were included. Some parts of the rendering are modelled using Blender 3D.

The scene made use of Carrara’s Realistic Sky tool to create the volumetric atmospheric effects.

Uncommon Paradigm is a collection of science fiction artworks that I have been working on (during the free times) for some years.  Its storyline is told through the narratives of a fictitious space traveller.
