This video demonstrates the modelling of a simple organic cup using Rhino 3D’s Subdivision capability. Compared to traditional NURBS techniques. Subdivision modelling is actually easier to understand. However, as of this writing, subdivision modelling is not officially supported in Rhino 6. Additionally, it still is lacking some standard tools such as loop cuts, knife tools which are very useful for this kind of work.
